Biography
Jodi has over 25 years of experience as an attorney, with extensive litigation experience. Jodi started her Boulder law firm in 2012 with an emphasis on meeting the legal needs of the LGBTQ community. Over 50% of the firm's client base are members of the LGBTQ community. Jodi frequently presents on LGBTQ matters, to include presentations to local non-profits and bar associations.
Jodi's practice focuses on Estate Planning, Probate/Estate Administration, Probate Litigation, Family Law, Family Confirmation (to include confirming parental rights of same-sex couples through step-parent adoption and the Uniform Parentage Act), as well as Name and Gender Marker Matters.
Jodi is licensed in Colorado and Oklahoma, as well as admitted to the federal courts in Colorado and Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Jodi previously served as a member of the Out Boulder County Board of Directors for a term of 6 years, which included two years as President of the Board.
