Overview

The mission and vision of the Colorado LGBT Bar Foundation is to promote the charitable and educational work of the Colorado LGBT Bar Association, to advance LGBT individuals in the law, and to protect and empower Colorado’s LGBT community as a whole. The Colorado LGBT Bar Foundation fosters inclusiveness in the legal profession by providing financial assistance to charitable and educational organizations demonstrating ability in and commitment to affecting change in the LGBTQ communities through their involvement in the legal profession. Through these awards, we forge links between professional and emerging organizational leaders. In doing so, the Colorado LGBT Bar Foundation helps to facilitate the growth and advancement of not only these organizations – but of our communities as well.

The Colorado LGBT Bar Foundation awards these grants through its own fundraising efforts. Grant awards are determined on a rolling basis by the Colorado LGBT Bar Foundation Board of Directors.
